A Valorant crosshair generator and a pro code database

This is a Valorant crosshair generator and a database of pro crosshair codes in one place. The generator draws your crosshair with the game's own maths, so what you see here is what you get when you paste the code in. The database holds 185 pro codes and 48 more we built ourselves, and every pro entry carries the date we last checked it. Half the "best Valorant crosshair codes" lists on the internet are two years stale and never say when they were written. That date is the entire point of this one. If you just want Valorant crosshair examples to try, the collection below has thousands, sorted by colour and shape.

How to change your crosshair in Valorant

Changing your crosshair in Valorant takes about ten seconds. Copy a crosshair code, open the game, go to Settings, then the Crosshair tab. Above the profile list there is a small import icon. Click it, paste the code, confirm. The crosshair changes immediately, and you can go back by importing your old code, so it is worth saving the one you use now before you start experimenting.

On console you cannot paste a code, because there is no clipboard to paste from. Every crosshair page here lists its settings as plain numbers for exactly that reason: colour, outline thickness, inner line length, offset, opacity. Type those in by hand and you land on the same crosshair.

How to copy someone's crosshair in Valorant

There is no button in game that copies a teammate's crosshair, which is why so many people search for it. Three things actually work. If you are spectating a teammate after dying, turn on "show spectated player's crosshair" in your crosshair settings and you will see theirs instead of yours while you watch. That shows you the shape, but not the code. If you want the code itself, ask them to export it from the same import menu and send you the text. And if the player is a pro, that is what this database is for: search the name and copy the code straight off their page.

Valorant crosshair colours

Valorant gives you eight preset colours plus a custom hex field, so any colour you like is available. The game spells the setting "Color" and the custom field takes a hex value, which is why people search for Valorant crosshair color codes: a code like 000000 or 00FFFF is all a custom colour is. Cyan, green and white are what most pros run, because they separate from the sand, concrete and foliage that make up most of the map pool. A black crosshair sounds strange and works better than people expect, since most Valorant surfaces are pale; it fails badly in dark corners, which is the trade. Red is the one to think twice about, because it disappears into ability effects. If you are red-green colourblind, cyan and magenta stay apart where the game's default green and red do not.

What the best Valorant crosshair codes have in common

Read through 185 pro codes and the pattern stops being subtle. They are small, they are static, and they are boring. Nearly every pro turns movement error and firing error off, so the crosshair never changes shape in the middle of a fight. Inner line length is usually 2 to 4, thickness 1 or 2, and the gap is small or closed entirely. A good number run no lines at all, just a dot. TenZ has the most copied crosshair in the game and his current one is a cyan cross with length-2 lines and a 1px gap, which is smaller than most people expect from the most famous crosshair in Valorant.

The crosshair code format

People call it the Valorant crosshair import code format, and it is one line of text holding every setting. 0;P;c;5;h;0;0l;4;0o;2;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0 is a complete crosshair: 0 is the version, P opens the primary profile, c is the colour and 0l the inner line length. You never need to read one, but it is why a crosshair can travel through a Discord message and arrive intact.

Using a code

Hit copy on any code here. In VALORANT go to Settings, then Crosshair, click the import icon above your profiles, paste, and confirm. That is the whole thing.

On console you cannot paste a code, so every crosshair page also lists its settings as plain numbers. Full guide.

Common questions

What is a Valorant crosshair code?
A line of text that holds a whole crosshair setup. Paste it into VALORANT under Settings, Crosshair, Import Profile Code, and your crosshair changes instantly.
How do I change my crosshair in Valorant?
Open Settings, go to the Crosshair tab, and either adjust the sliders or click the import icon above the profile list to paste a crosshair code. The change applies immediately, and you can import your old code to go back.
How do I import a Valorant crosshair code?
Copy the code, open VALORANT, go to Settings then Crosshair, click the Import Profile Code icon above your profiles, paste and confirm. On console there is no clipboard, so type the settings in by hand instead; every crosshair page here lists them as plain numbers.
How do I copy someone's crosshair in Valorant?
There is no in-game button that copies a teammate's crosshair. While spectating you can turn on show spectated player's crosshair to see theirs instead of yours, which shows the shape but not the code. To get the code, ask them to export it, or look the player up here if they are a pro.
What is the best Valorant crosshair?
There is no single best one, but the pro codes in this database agree on a lot: small, static, and with movement and firing error switched off. Inner line length 2 to 4, thickness 1 or 2, and a small or closed gap covers most of them.
What is the best Valorant crosshair colour?
Cyan, green and white are the most used at the top level because they separate cleanly from sand, concrete and foliage. Red is the riskiest, since it hides in ability effects. If you are red-green colourblind, cyan and magenta stay distinguishable.
How do I get a black crosshair in Valorant?
Set the colour to custom and enter 000000 as the hex value. It works better than it sounds because most Valorant surfaces are pale, and it fails in dark corners, which is the trade you are making.
Can I use a different crosshair for shotguns or scoped weapons?
Not per weapon. Valorant gives you three profiles: primary, an ADS profile for aiming down sights, and a sniper profile that shows while scoped with an Operator, Marshal or Outlaw. Turn on advanced options in the generator to set them separately.
Do the previews here match the game?
Yes, pixel for pixel when the crosshair is at rest. The renderer uses the game's own math, including the 4px gap that firing error adds, and it is checked against 34 known pro codes. Previews are magnified so the shape stays readable, so judge the shape here and the size in game.
What crosshair does TenZ use?
A very small cyan cross. His page has the code, his sensitivity, and the older codes he used before, because he changes them a lot.
Does any of this cost money?
No, and there is no account. Anything you save stays in your own browser.
